    In the same way that poppy seeds can infamously trigger false positive drug test results, the trace amount of THC (<0.3%) in legal CBD products can potentially do the same as marijuana. Until the underlying science is better understood, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before consuming CBD if you anticipate the need to take a drug test.

  3. Is CBD safe for pets? How does it work?

    CBD is generally considered safe for dogs and cats. Our products are formulated according to your pet’s size. There is no known risk to animals of “overdosing” on CBD. Research into CBD’s effects on pets (namely cats and dogs) is still in its infancy. However, an internet search or two will reveal a mountain of anecdotal evidence for improvements in separation anxiety, seizures, mobility and quality of life.

    We exclusively use vegetable-based delayed release capsules. These delayed release capsules target the small intestine—not the gut—where absorption is higher and dispersal into the bloodstream is more efficient.

    No. CBD has no psychoactive effect, regardless of its delivery. Additionally, the 0.3% or less THC content present in broad-spectrum CBD products is exponentially less than the minimum dose needed to feel any psychoactive effect.
